SAM GANESHAN

Managing Director & Member, Acquisitions / Underwriting

Mr. Ganeshan is both a Member and Managing Director of Acquisitions at Hudson Housing Capital. He has been with the company since its inception in 1998. A member of the company's Investment Committee, he is responsible for approving all tax credit investments made by the company and its affiliates. As Managing Director of Acquisitions, Mr. Ganeshan is also responsible for all aspects of the company’s acquisition process nationally.

Mr. Ganeshan has extensive experience in affordable housing financing, including more than 53,000 apartment units owned by Hudson. He has been involved with property types including public housing, preservation projects, supportive housing, and bond financed transactions. Mr. Ganeshan also has significant experience with the financial, tax and legal implications of multi-tiered affordable housing financing.

Prior to the formation of Hudson Housing Capital, Ganeshan began his career in 1994 at Lehman Brothers in its Public Finance Group, rising to Vice President.

Mr. Ganeshan holds an MS in Finance from Pennsylvania State University
