Hudson Housing Deals:

A NATIONAL AWARD WINNER

Tierra del Sol
Canoga Park, California

Hudson Housing worked with the non-profit organization, New Economics for Women, to structure a new multi-purpose development in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. In addition to new affordable housing for families, the 5-acre site is home to a new charter school housing 240 elementary school students. .Piecing together the school facilities with the housing complex required a complicated arrangement of easements and leases, but the end result is a dynamic and synergistic combination of educational, residential and community uses to the benefit of students, parents and residents.  Tierra de Sol was a winner of the Edson Award as the best urban tax credit project in the country in 2005 and received a Maxwell Award for Excellence from the Fannie Mae Foundation.

Hudson Housing is pleased to provide financial support to anon-profit developer with a clear mission to provide services to low and moderate income families.
