John S. Zeiler

CONTACT INFORMATION

Mr. Zeiler is the Chief Executive Officer and a Founding Member of Hudson Housing Capital. He is a member of the company’s Investment Committee responsible for approving all tax credit investments made by the company and its affiliates.

Prior to the formation of Hudson Housing Capital, Mr. Zeiler founded and was President of Z Real Estate Partners in 1991 to capitalize on acquisition opportunities in distressed real estate assets and to make select venture capital equity investments in real estate related operating companies. Prior to forming Z Real Estate, Mr. Zeiler was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, where he specialized in structuring real estate investments for the firm and its clients with an emphasis on government subsidized housing. Mr. Zeiler was employed by Lehman Brothers for 13 years, financing over $2.1 billion of real estate assets on behalf of the firm and its clients including $1 billion of apartment properties financed under various FHA, HUD and tax credit programs. Mr. Zeiler also worked on the first retail syndication of low income
housing tax credits in 1987. He also engineered the acquisition of Hollywood, Inc., the master plan developer of the city of Hollywood, Florida by Lehman Brothers in partnership with
Nelson Peltz and The Swerdlow Companies.

Mr. Zeiler graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in Urban Studies, and holds both an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business Administration and a Masters of Public Administration from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.

Mr. Zeiler is a director of the Police Athletic League of New York and is a founding director of Our Place Theatre in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He is also a director of the KIPP AMP
Academy Charter School in New York City.
